Rhinolith

                                           

Rhinoliths are mineralised foreign bodies in the nasal cavity

                       There are 2 types
            - Exogenous Rhinolith (F.B)
            - Endogenous Rhinolith (Blood clot)

Female > Male , Single , Unilateral
Grey or Brownish pink in colour
They are chiefly made of phosphates and carbonates of calcium.


Symptoms:
Unilateral nasal discharge
Nasal obstruction
On probing the presence of a stony hard structure could be identified
